Ebay "billet" grill. Anyone have with pics?

Anyone try these out or have pictures. I'm still iffy on whether or not it looks good. I'd have to see it in person or on my car.

I searched, couldn't find much. here's a link to one of the auctions:

I feel the billets is a aquired taste, i had it on my Silver G35 Sedan with a custom 350gt emblem built on it and i loved it, but now i got a Blue/Black G35 coupe and wouldnt think twice about putting it on, just a no in my eyes for this color

but here's some pix from my sedan and my buddies TB G35c

Yeah, I just wanted to get some second opinions. That particular design doesn't look right on my monitor. I wanted to know if it looked better in person. I figured more pics would help me decide, after seeing them on my color or close.

I'm going to just pass. If I'm only 50/50 between them and my stock grills, the free + 0 install on my stock grill wins.

Ooooh, that looks nice. I wonder how it'd look on DG.

Oh, and I think that looks like an injen intake there. How hard are they to install? Do I have to rip apart the bumper like I did on my brother's RSX? I'm trying to find something functional, but easy to install/uninstall, for warranty reasons. I want to be able to yank it off in 5 minutes, then send my car in for repair with no worries.

Yea i love the painted grill look and i ended up doing it a bit dif leaving the putter edge chrome

i did take off my bumper for the easiest install, but if you want you can get the Injen Cai and make it a short ram so it sits where the oem air box was and functional as well

if you need anything feel free to ask

Joe

Is the bumper easy to remove? Just a few clips?

Yeah, I like it better than the Skyline imitation one. That one's a hair too dull looking with the mesh grill.

there are about 10-15 10m screws that hold your under carridge splashshield yo your front bumper that would need to be removed

there is 2 10mm bolts that are behind your side marker lights which need to be remvoved

you need to remove the push clips that hold your front bumper and grill to the radiator support

lastly there will be a few push clips you need to remove as well in the inner fender splash shield before removing the front bumper

so take you 20mins to remove it

but an easier way to install the Injen Cai

remove oem intake and disconnect the vacuum line and maf sensor from oem intake before ripping it out...

"if your un-familar with this process, just take your time, its very easy to do, but may take you alittle longer your first time threw"

1. remove driver side front wheel
2. turn your wheel all the way to the right
3. remove the push clips that hold the inner fender splash shield to the front bumper
4. pull back the splash shield and rest it in the tire thread to your hand/arm doesnt get all cut/scratched up

now you have full access to the botton inside of your bumper to install the cone on the intake tube

hope this helps

Joe
