Just bought an 04 G35 and was wandering what shade of tint go with. I don't want it too dark. My options are 35 or 20...

35 sounds about right for you.

 

+1 35% is perfect IMO

 

well if you want classy go with 35 if you want aggresive get 20

i say 20% its not that dark

i have 30% on front windows and 20% on the rear windows and it looks good. you could do that hahaha

 

im have 15 all the way around on a black car. its nice

 

20% is perfect and its not too dark

 

Another combo to consider is 35% with 50% on the windshield, good compromise between 35/20%. I've got 35% now and I'll be adding the 50% sometime

 

I say 5% all around the darker the hotter the car looks plus way more aggresive can't wait to get mine done

 

+1 I agree. Everyone has their own opinions though, it's really what you think will look good and will work for you. I had 20 on my old car and liked it alot. NOT TOO DARK to be harassed by police and not bad to drive at night at all. I like the really dark so i went with 5 on my ride this time. It makes it look more agressive if you ask me. but it's up to you.

 

yea 5% FTW! but cops down here arent too strict on the tints which is why i got them, it just adds to the black on black on black look but everyone has different tastes so whatever works for u

 

20% at the least.
I have 20% and wish I had 10%. Can EASILY be seen in and out of. Too much heat gets through also.

25 is just right. I'm sure they'll do it for you if you just ask. IT IS PURE SEX

 

you can't just ask for some % tint and expect them to have it. if they have 20, then the chances are that they won't have 25.

there isn't a big difference between the two, anyway. 15 and 25 would be a bit of a different story.

 

I would say 10%, I got 25% and its really not that dark at all Im going to change my back windows to 5% and leave the front at 25%... Also the interior makes a difference too.
