Question Will NRG Hood Shocks Work with Carbon Fiber Hood?

Hey, does anybody know if the NRG Hood Shocks would work with the carbon fiber hood? I mean it says its designed for OEM, but it seems it would work ok with the c.f hood. I know some of you modders out there have tried this! Drop a few lines with some info and opinion, thanks guys!

^ YES IT DOES.. just be very careful when opening the hood tho theres alot of pressure in those shocks.. you gotta keep your hand on the hood or else its just going to shoot the hood up..

also i'd recommend hood pins or some sport of saftey lock on the hood if you use those.. they're very high pressure shocks for a CF hood..

They worked great with my Stillen CF hood for a year before I took it off.

The latest short version are Not recomended for carbon fiber hoods. The older long version would work on carbon fiber hoods.

A Stillen hood is much stronger than other CF hoods.

I will have more details about another Version next week that Will work with CF and fiberglass hoods.

You can switch right and left mounts. This seems to work . Tony@riversideinfiniti.com gave me the advice. The new shocks are they also NRG's?

yeah i mean it works fine.. tony himself runs it on his 350z with a cf hood.. just hold the hood down as you open it.. (meaning do not let other people open your hood) failure to do so = hood scraping fenders or worst damaged hinges/hood
