Fill in old screw holes in front bumper?

The 1st owner had a front license plate screwed into the bumber. Idiot. Anyway, it's left four screw holes that I'd now like to fill in and paint over.

Anyone have any experience with this? I was thinking I'd fill them in with some kind of epoxy, file smooth, then paint. Any other ideas/suggestions?

Thanks--

4 holes?? that sucks... easiest way is to go with bumper plugs, but I would just get a new front bumper if I were you.

Search for the home-made bumperplugs ( Parts from Lowe's and touch up paint).

Thanks guys. In the process of searching/reading, I discovered that Texas (where I'll soon be moving to) requires front plates. Oh, well....I may fix them anyway, with either the nylon plugs or my epoxy method.

Mr Inkredibul : I have an idea for you as well. Wanna hear it?

Texas may technically require it, but I haven't found it to be forced. I haven't had a plate on the front of my cars in the last 10 years and haven't had a problem.

Plus, a very informally polling when driving indicated about every 1/3 of the cars I pass don't have them on the front.

Veeeery interesting. I'd much rather go without. I'll be driving with NH plates for a while anyway. I may use the "But officer, NH doesn't require front plates..." line if I ever get pulled over. (NH does, btw, require front plates.)
