Repainting Bumper
#17
Jlin, looks great! My paint guy said to wait at least 3 weeks before I try to wax as the paint is still drying and curing. To play it safe I am waiting 3 months. I have heard stories that it takes way longer to dry and cure than you may think.

I know you can add a flex additive to the paint. This is something most shops dont apply and thats how you get the chips on your bumper. This happened to me with my old cars body kit out of fiberglass. Fiberglass is worse than Urethane b/c it doesnt flex as much. Stock bumpers need less of this additive vs fiberglass since factory OEM are urethane based. At the supply i purchased products from they had a tennis ball coated with a House of Kolor candy and it was amazing how you could bounce the ball around the paint will not chip/crack. Hope this helps!
