Well, Mr. Sponsor, next time you try to burn on someone for something, I've got a list of tips you could try to follow, it'll help you actually not get laughed at when you try to shut someone down.
Rule 1: make logical sense. You didnt address any of JonE5's criticisms, other than to say he is a "noob" and a "deuschebag" whatever the **** the latter word means. (for all you ESL folks, it's DOUCHEbag.. learn to ****ing spell, you're not 5 anymore and no, it's no excuse that you are on a forum. If anything it highlights your ignorance because we have a god damned spell check button.
Rule 2: Avoid ad-hominem attacks. Again for ESL folks, that means that you don't attack the person behind the argument, you attack the argument itself. Jon whateverthe**** might be a newbie (he isn't; 300 posts is sufficient to brand someone as a regular user), that doesnt mean he is wrong. In fact it seems like he does have the expertise and coherency to talk about this. You might be an engineer but you can't spell so...not too sure where to go on that one.
Rule 4: Be correct. You say no-one talked about speed but they did, JonE5 was dismissing incorrect information that WAS posted in this thread. He took time out of his day to write a reasoned out post as a cautionary tale to this forum's members. You on the other hand are contributing to the misinformation by your blanket statements dismissing his qualification to answer the question, even though as far as I can tell he is completely right.
Rule 5: Dont **** off your customers. I for one want a cf hood for my car, and I might order it from you. That said, I don't enjoy salesmen talking tough to customers. It's bad business.
All that said, I agree with both of you: CF hoods are simply not mods for speed, contrary to what HAS been posted in this thread, but I do agree they look great. I want one and I'll be checking out your selection.
Have a nice day everybody,
Rocaveli
