Not bashing the use of the hood. Im just seeing too many people confusing the use of CF lately.

shouldn't matter. It doesn't make this product any less defective. It should have been replaced if it was still under warranty.

I didn't know. The OP said there was one. I've never bought a Seibon product. Even if there is no express warranty, there is probably an implied one.

sucks to hear about.

Sorry for the ot, but for the stock aluminum hood is it ok to drop the hood to close it? I heard pressing on it to close can cause it to dent?
