Yes, stock hood can be dopped to close it.
As long as you press the edge of the hood where it meets the grill, you are fine. I've never had issue with the stock.

I think seibon wont exchange it because your latch part is cracked too. It looks to me that whoever installed the hood should of installed the hood slightly closer towards the windshield. I think forcing the hood to close if it doesnt feel like it wanna close would force the hood to bend slightly therefore causing the cracks.

I already got the replacement hood and everything.

Just to let everyone know, the hood was not installed incorrectly, it latched perfectly and the fitment was perfect. The hood was never forced to be closed, so these cracks should have never occurred.

I feel your pain. I had the TS style on my supra after 6 months started to spider web on the top vent sections. I had the same cracks you do at the bottom and i never slammed my hood to close it.

Then the worst came. I was driving down the highway around 70mph to 75. And day became night. Hood flew up so hard that glass from the windshield made all the way to my trunk/hatch area. Supras have 2 latchs. The passanger side seperated from the hood. Causing the disaster. Hood folded in half on impact. Almost shattered my windshield and bent my targa top to ****.\
Thanks Seibon

saw a seibon TS hood this weekend at a car meet that had the hood latch issues, fly up and hit his roof. Jacked up the hood and fenders also. Get hood pins if you are going to run this hood. Only a matter of time before we see more threads like this IMO
Edit: Pics of the carnage

^ seen that happen before.

This hood, a VIS hood, authentic Top Secret hood...ALL aftermarket hoods need hood pins...it's that simple.
