Do you think its rice?

Do you all think having one winshield wiper in the middle would be ricey? Any thoughts on this?
Also, how difficult would it be too do this?

Re: Do you think its rice?

No, personally I dont find the Older E-Classes "Ricey" Only if the civics and accords could get their single wipers to stay down, and out of the way of the windshield, then that would also not be "ricey."

Re: Do you think its rice?

Since you did ask, yes I definitely do think the uni wiper thing is ricey. I'd add that I think it's a fad that has passed to. But, it is your car not mine and you can do whatever you want. I'd never say boo,......unless you asked.

Re: Do you think its rice?

Why not go through life with only one arm or one leg? Answer is because two is obviously better. If you buy a car w/ one arm, the vehicle was designed for it. Changing from two arms to one arm is the definition of RICE according to Rebster's Rice Dictionary...

Hmmm...I'm trying to think of why in the heck you'd spend the time and money on something like that. Ah, each person likes something different, I guess.

Click on UVカットリヤサンシェイド(アクリル製:スモークタイプ) in the left hand navigation. It's about 5 up from the bottom

Re: Do you think its rice?

I was talkin abou the front winshield..
The first time I saw this was in those euro car races..like on speedtv..and I was thinking..wow it looks likes its alot bettter the way it cleans the windows...

But I wonder if it really does..in the techincal fact..and you know sometimes..1 is better than 2..

Sometimes, things need to be simplified..

Anyways, does know how difficult it is too do?

Re: Do you think its rice?

Its not hard at all...if you do it like most of these ricers. All they do is remove their driver side wiper blade. Un bolt the passenger side blade and place it higher up on the windshield. This way when they turn it on, it will travel in the same motion the right side wiper usually moves, but with only one this time.

Re: Do you think its rice?

You've got to remember that the Lambo has a windshield that is almost as deep as it is wide, ergo the single wiper!

Re: Do you think its rice?

One wiper is fine, what is rice is if you leave it exposed in the middle of you windsheild when not in use.

Re: Do you think its rice?

When I got my G, I kept my 97 MB E320, but not for the single wiper. Out of all the cars I've owned since the mid 80's this one does the worst job of windshield wiping probably because of the single wiper. It's not as bad now that I live in California, but back in Chicago with the snow and grime in the winter it was a real pain in the a$$. I end up changing the wiper blades about twice as often as any of my other cars. I carry a spare in the trunk all the time.

In my opinion, don't get a single wiper, rice or not!
