No turning back now (w/ pics)

So I've started the process of blacking out my headlights. Not too bad so far, just taking a break. Don't want to do to much at once. Taking off the bumper and headlights wasn't that bad. Just have to take your time. Same thing with separating the headlights. But gotta admit my heart was racing when I stuck them in the oven. For the simple fact of how expensive they would be to replace. But I got thru it, now time to paint

Going to start flat see how that looks. And if anything maybe add some Semi-Gloss.

nice , how long did you put it in the oven? and at what temperature?

I put it at 205 for like ten mins. But the first time I had to put it back in for like five six mins, because I didn't seperate it quick enough.

thought all ovens in the U.S. used farenheit as the standard? Doesn't even say celsius or farenheit on my oven...

yes i'm serious. and yes it's Fahrenheit here....205C is about 400F.....i just thought 205F was low.

I've seen people do +350F

I don't see why you would need to have it more then 215 at the most. Its plenty hot enough to soften the adhesive on it.
