Someone help this is driving me crazy??!!?!?!?
Just recently i have been experiencing a noise that sounds as if it is coming from under my car...it is an intermitent noise that seems to be more prevalent during lower gears, but happens both while cruising(not giving any gas) and when i gas it; however, doing this will also make it stop occassionally...it sounds like when you put a baseball card in your bike spokes "tttttrrrrrrrrlllllllllllllll" but it has more of a passing air noise than the tick of my baseball card analogy...since i can't get to the dealership anytime soon, i was hoping someone here maybe able to shed some insight??????

I have the same damn problem. I have an '05 coupe 5AT and comes on when I accelerate. I brought it in, and the tech said he could not confirm it, but it could be a pinging from bad gas. I don't think so. At $4.50/gallon, that s%$@ better not be bad gas. Anyone else have ideas? I'm gonna bring it back in this week to see what they say

found this?
I just found this, I don't know if this is related to your noise.I thought I'd post this and share it..
After more than three years of documented warranty problems, Infiniti finally released a TSB that (1) acknowledges there is a noise problem with the compression rod bushings, and (2) provides a solution for just replacing the defective bushings themselves (the beefy aluminum rods themselves are not the problem, but until now, that was the LRU).
The TSB is: ITB08-013, "NOISE FROM FRONT COMPRESSION ROD"
