Painting my Kuruma Z bumper

I got my Kuruma Z on Sat. The box they send it in is like 6'3" tall.

Anyway, my guy is telling me $500 to paint and install the bumper. Does that sound right? I think I am being overpriced by a hundred or so. So that's a total of $1300, for bumper, paint, and install.

Anyone paid less than $500 to paint and install the Kuruma Z bumper in SoCal? If so what shop did you go to?

sounds right im in the body biz, 100 to install it is right and 400 to paint it, make sure he uses flex additive when he paints it so it doesnt crack.

$45 hour for work
$22 hour for paint
4.5 hours to paint a bumper= $301.50
2 hours to (R+I) remove+install= $90
$301.50+$90= $391.50
But paint cost more in Los Angeles, thats the only state that has to spray waterborn paint.

That's about right, given that they do a good job and take the time to fit it well.

Ok. So I'm getting a good price.

Anyway CZP got the mesh on back order. So I gotta wait for a couple more weeks to put the fangled thing on. Will post pics. In the meantime I probably should look into getting clearcorners.com, because I can hear the comments coming now.

Too late, I ordered them all at the same time. Had the bumper sent ahead off time to get painted.

Is this a reputable product. Is it the same as the CZP mesh?
