this will be the third time i bring my car to the dealer to have the window motor fixed!! has there been a recall!! the window after like 8 months, when auto rolling up, will reach the top and lower like 3 inches! i tried to reset it... nothing, i am wondering if i'm resetting it correctly.. but still the third time this has happened and now i have to pay $50 per visit.

 

I hear about window motors doin all crazy things on G's and mine has been crappy for a while now. I have to push it down to like register then it will work. If its not a mother fkin recall it ought to be!!

 

is it a problem for all the years or just random?

 

I know its big in 03s but im pretty sure its basically all years that have window problems.

 

i have an 04 and im going to be replacing it for the third time!

 

man there should be like a petition so we can get this done as a recall...

The day I bought my car it broke and i've been using Hold-Lock button to roll down the window to enter my car. I even tried the "5$ Door Lock Actuator Fix" but it was epic fail. LOL

theres a DIY for cleainng your window motor i tried it it worked. might want to try that first before going to stealerships just my 2 cents =)
