paintless color change

someone posted this on another forum. its shows how a bmw went from black to white without painting. personally i'll stick with repainting. i think they just had a little too much vinyl on their hands.

Very interesting! looks good just like if it was repainted...reminds me of that taxi movie cant remember the name...with the hooked up taxi cab and the hot chicks with the candy apple bmw...the part where they disguise themselves along with the car by peeling off the red paint, in this case the sticker wrap, and going back into its original color blue.

Thats' gotta cost just as much as repainting the car!

well a friend of mine started a detailing business and got a quote to body wrap his car...was $2,500-3000. I couldn't believe that! So i would assume that type of work done on the bimmer, would be as much or more considering the quality and time put into it.

Although, the $2500 quote we got was including the graphix and design of logo and drawings , and such...so that would maybe justify that quote. so i can also see why all plain white vinyl would probably be way less.

hec if its about $1000-1500 to do that type of work on a car....id do it!

does it only come in white? If it came in OB, I wouldn't mind just wrapping my hood and front bumper
