Not much can be done to the grill, it's pretty solid and it's not flexible at all.

Have you tried installing your OEM grill to check the fitment of your front? I'd try that and see if you have any gaps still. If so, you need to readjust and tweak the fitment of your front.

The OEM fits perfectly.

Can the bumper be flexed up at all to meet the grill? What front is that BTW, I really like it.

yeah you're supposed to keep the foam for additional support..

as for the grille viet, you should try to get ionic to exchange
