Urgent Bumper Question Need Validated Info
I took to my car to a body shop that will remain nameless. There is a gap between the bumper and the headlight after the body work was done.
By design are there any gaps between the headlights and the bumper when it comes to the dealership?
I am talking about being able to see under the headlight at all...
I need info I can provide to my insurance company that will be up to State Farm Standards.
I would really love to hear from any Infiniti/Nissan guys/gals who subscribe to this site. Thanks!!!!

Try putting the headlight back on, mine looked like **** today after I painted my headlights black because I put the bottom screw on too tight and it wasn't flush with the fender. I put the screws off and fixed it a bit and it was fine.

Maybe, maybe not. If your car was in a front end accident, then it may never fit correctly. Or if the body shop did a poor job. Or if the bumper is not OEM (i.e aftermarket OEM style bumpers). Also, what do you consider a gap? .5mm? 1mm? A pinky width? Many variables.
In most cases, the bumper/headlight/hood can all be adjusted to have as close as possible tolerance.
Pics will speak 1000 words.

There's two bolts as you can see, I think he's missing bolt #2. I know my shop did when I got my aftermarket bumper installed I had to go back and make him put something there.
I am thinking about what to do here. To me it looks like a bad part. We did a screw inspection at the dealership with their diagram and all the screws are in correctly. I looks like the bumper is just bad... any thoughts?

...bring it back and let them try again/or bring it somewhere else, it shouldn't look like that
