Carbon fiber headlights

How hard would it be to open up the inside and resin it myself. Or am i better off painting them black with halo rings?

It will be fairly difficult so you may have to do some trial and error. If you go that route get a spair light to practice wrapping.

The SDG's will be doing this once we get the supplies in.

you gave me n idea though...

i have a set of cracked ones now i will try and carbon weave them and it should fix the crack .....

i will paint the other set black....

I'm guessing it stands for San Diego G's.

Laying cf on a flat surface is not exactly easy by itself, let alone trying to get an edge or a corner evenly. Then you add other shapes and curves that your headlights have, and it's going to seem impossible to get it as cleanly laid out as IGT has it in that pic. And plus, I don't think IGT's is an overlay...

true ....i guess i could try though the lights are cracked right in the center...i think i ordered bulbs for the fogs off ebay and they were hot and melted a split in the middle...i have to open them up to find out

its all about vaccum bagging it, you will not achieve that with hand laying

I always thought they laid it by hand and then sealed it in a vacuum bag?
