I want to paint all the silver interior pieces gloss black. I can take off most of the interior pieces but I am running into problems for the pop up navi area. I want to paint everything but I am unsure how to approach the navi casing and button on top to make screen pop up. Can the casing be removed from the screen so I can give to the painters? I dont feel comfortable handing them the whole screen and hoping they do not break it. Also, what should I do with the button? I need to have this area painted or it will really stick out bad. ANy suggestions will be appreciated.

Also, for those who painted their trim on an auto.. Did you paint the shift plate as well?
