Shift knob help and ques....

Shift **** help and ques....

i have a RE short shifter kit along with my nisms titanium shift ****. im trying to put my oem **** back on for a lil while but some reason when i screw the oem 1 back on my oem turns maybe 5-6 times and then it wont screw onto the shifter anymore. i dont want to cross thread the treads.

is there sumthing wrong dat im doing or not doing??

i figured it would b easy and screw on but its not going ne more after the 5-6 turns.

someone help me pleaseeee

Is there old thread lock still on the threads of the OE ****?

...the best way is to run a thread tap into it to clean it out.

does the short shifter have the same amount of treads as the stock one?

ill prob screw the oem back onto the stock to see the diff
