3rd (window) Brake light question???

I have a 2004 Coupe with a Spoiler (I've had the car for only a couple of months). I barely noticed that the window brake light does not work....is this because of the spoiler? Or, is the window brake light supposed to be working even if I do have the spoiler? If so, how do I replace the bulb?

Thanks guys.

I apologize if this sounds dumb, but where would I check for this connection?

If it is connected and still not working, how would I go about replacing the bulb?

Thanks guys!

Beebo, can you give a little more detail on removing the brake light cover? Do you do it from inside the car or from the trunk? I need to check mine since it isn't working, thanks.

Wes, I got the light unit replaced. If you could take pics of the process and post, I think it would be very helpful to others. I've had a couple of people ask about how to get the unit out and replace the light. Thanks
