Door stop

My 05 coupes door won't stay open on the slightest incline. Dealer says door is heavy. I think they knew this when it was built. Anyway is there a way of adjusting the door stop? Thanks

has anyone found a fix for this? I'm probably going to buy protective stickers for the doors because I always have to put my foot on it to keep it from shutting on my shins.

Good thing we have power windows, someone would complain about their arm being sore..

This is exactly like the seatbelt issue, there is no fix so we must learn to deal with it. With the door you need to hold it open with your right hand and slide out when parked on an incline. Seatbelt you have to train yourself to guide it back when getting out. Sure it's a PIA but the price we pay for having such a beautiful ride!

What he said. They wear down over time so this issue just gets worse the longer you own the car. They cost about $28 from the online stealerships (search for 'Door Check').
