Color? Check this out

I'm sure everybody has seen the infiniti Essence concept, and under the awesome lighting it looks amazing, but I just found a video showing it in live action.... How the HELL do they get this type of radiance out of a silver color?? It looks like polished metal, but it's a paint. Any insight on how or what color this is, other than just "really shiny silver"?

everything
Ive talked with the guys at AlsoCorp a few years back. I had them send me paint samples for my showcar. Opted not to go with the Chrome FX. It looks hazy in person and cant replicate chrome in full, it comes close but not 100%

Theres a few companies out there now that make chrome paint but nothing can come close to the actual chrome plating process thats done to metal. I dont think they used the AlsaCorp chrome on the Essence, Ive seen cars painted with the Chrome FX and its a lot more reflective than the Essence

http://alsacorp.com/products/chromefx/

I believe its achieved by the way the paint is atomized when it leaves the gun. The crazy part is the dry time, its almost completely dry right after its sprayed

No matter what color it is... Id give my left nut to own that concept car.
