There are 3 different companies making the underbody shield? (rarejdm, zspeed, arc)
And the awd sedan(05) underbody shield are different?

man that's way expensive...

pretty...

but expensive...

I have the Z-Speed one and it has taken a BEATING with as low as I am and there's only one dent in it from hitting a cell phone doing 75 on the freeway (yes a cell phone)

the latest Z-speed has enough adjustment to work with a slew of aftermarket bumpers.

Finally got around to doing my first oil change with the undertray. It's gotten pretty nasty with the rain and hasn't been wiped down. So far it looks good with just some water spots.

Good thing I have access to a lift.

Looks like I have a leak somewhere.

German Castrol and PureOne filter FTW! $27.99 at Pep Boys.

Finally got around to installing my RareJDM Polished Aluminum Underpanel this past weekend. Install was very straightforward, everything fit just like OEM.

I am very impressed with how strong the underpanel is. We punched it pretty hard once it was installed on the car and it didn't budge at all. I'm also very pleased with the fitment on the car. It sits very tight up against the car, higher than my OEM undertray did. Since I'm slammed my OEM undertray took a beating everytime I drove my car and was constantly on the verge of falling off. I haven't even scraped the RareJDM underpanel yet because its sitting up higher.

I opted to install mine with the front of the underpanel above the front bumper vs under, so that when I scrape it wont get caught on anything. I had my OEM undertray installed the same way.

I didn't get any installed pics because it was dark, will get some pics on the car soon.

Overall I'm very impressed with the quality, fitment and strength of the RareJDM underpanel. I'll post up my experience with the underpanel after driving around and inevitably scraping it. I'll let you know how it holds up.

very nice Marcus! I need to get mine ordered soon!!! my tollboothwilly may not last much longer...sadly when I installed the GT Spec Front tie brace it didnt fit..I modified everything by adding in some nylon spacers with longer bolts to count for the distance needed to install the brace.

Thanks Chris. Your GT Spec front tie brace was hitting your undertray? I installed the rear brace but didn't have time to do the front that day, will do it soon. From what I've seen there shouldn't be an issue with the underpanel and the front tie brace.

Didn't you used to have an ARC underpanel too...

I believe I installed it right according to directions but yes it was hitting my Aluminum Tray and wasnt even close to mounting up...

my front brace is installed here...im fairly certain that is the correct way..and yes it does sit lower than my Motordyne Sway bars by alittle under 1/2 inch.

Here is another installed pic of the GTSPEC front tie brace, I believe you have it installed correctly.

I'll try and get mine on soon and I'll report back on the fitment.

Yes I have aftermarket sways (Stillen), no rubbing issues against the underpanel at all.

okay. I wonder if its the aluminum underpanel I have..I know the ARC panel I had was plenty for clearance. not sure on the front tie brace since I never had it installed before until now.
