Fender Roll and Spacer Install Project

Hey all. My Volks still look great and are one of my favorite wheels on a G. I just wanted a little more flush look. My current setup is F 19x8.5 (+23) and R is 19x9.5 (+24), so they are a little more tucked than I'd like. Snapped off a few shots of the fender roll (Courtesy of Shane's G: Amazing roll and a great price) and spacer install. The first two pics are of my wheels with a 25mm spacer in the rear and an effective -1 Offset. These were on for one 5 minute test drive because they rubbed horribly when I hit a twig or pebble.

Here are some pics with Ichiba V2 15mm bolt on spacers on the front and H & R 15mm spacer with extended lugs on the rear:

Final Effective Offset F= ( +8 ) and R= ( +9 ) with almost perfect alignment (F camber (-.25) and R camber (-.50). My recommendations to anyone thinking of doing this: Buy the correct wheel size and offsets you want in the first place . All kidding aside, I had fun doing this project and learned a lot (mostly through trial and error). Let me know if you have an questions so you don't have to make as many mistakes along the way as I did.

I would personally go back to the +25mm and just stretch your tires. Your tires look absolutely huge after getting used to the stretched look haha...

Maybe when I get some BC Coilovers and can drop it right. For now with the drop I have (Eibach Prokit) it would look way worse with the smaller tires.

Here are a few better pics of the sides before and after the Kuruma Z and before the spacers.

No. Stillen roof wing from Stillen Motorsports. Was $185 OTD. Comes unpainted. Make sure the body shop ads poly flex agent when painting so it doesn't crack. Perfect fit. Mounts to winshield with pre installed double sided tape. Mod is well worth the investment.
