tapped from behind but no visible damage

So, I was at a red light in my 08' G35 sedan and there was a guy behind me also stopped and I think he may have let go of the breaks just a smidgen because I'm pretty sure I felt a little bump. Anyway, I pull turn over down a side road but he just kept going. I'm not sure he even was aware he did it. I got out and looked at my back bumper and could find nothing wrong.

I went home and washed and dried the bumper and looked over it very carefully but couldn't even find a scratch. Is it possible I'm just crazy or is the bumper just that good at taking light little bumps like that? We were both at a complete stop so it was just a very light little tap.

Thoughts???

I wouldnt be worried about it if theres no damage and the hit was as light as you describe.

If there's no scratch, why worry about it?

I would have gotten out of my car at the light though... Because if there was damage........
