Those with the TYPE-N Front Bumper (Nismo copy)

Where did you order yours? I'm really hesitant to order from I-M or Bulletproof after hearing how long some of their shipping times take! I am not about to wait 5 months to get my bumper heh.

Alright, I found another site that carries it. 350zforums.org, anyone order from them? I'll probably give them a call tommorow. Anyone know of a shop/store in SoCal that might have it?

extra $500 of labor charge for the front bumper and side skirts on top of the quoted price.which i think it reasonable consider what they did to make them fits.

Steve, the reason why I don't want to go with the real nismo bumper is just a fascia, not a full bumper. I've got license holes in my bumper now and I wan't to get rid of it.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was paint & install? I might go to the same shop....

What makes you say the real nismo isn't a complete bumper replacement.

Well a fascia binds onto something so I assume that the black portion attaches to the stock bumper... correct me if I'm wrong

Not all experiences with bulletproof are bad. I called bulletproof 10 days ago for my Ken style front bumper, grill and fog lights. They call and told my it was being shipped out today with a tracking # (so I know it is for real), I am about 6 hrs. away from LA, so hopefully I will have it by Thursdays. Maybe you should give them a chance.

That's just another word for bumper cover. The actuall bumper is the metal brace that takes the impact. The fascia is the whole thing / bumper cover.

So the whole nismo bumper would arrive in that flat black color in the pictures?

I think those black parts were just to show you what was different about the bumper. When shopping for quotes, I was guaranteed its the complete bumper as in direct replacement.

hello,

darren from intense here. 350zforums.org is THEE distributor for this bumper. it's really not bulletproof or intense that lags on the shippment of these. if we have a customer that calls to inquire about these bumpers, we advise them that it's a good product, but delivery can take up to 3 weeks.
