New Carbon Fiber Grill from Silviaparts!!

Hello to all,

Well, I received the first carbon fiber grill from Silviaparts and I have recently installed it on my car. The fitment is very good. I needed to move it around a little bit on the top to make the tabs fit, but no real problems there. The quality of the carbon fiber seems to be real good as well. The weave is perfect!

They are selling them for $299 SHIPPED! As you guys know, Silvia parts is known for selling their products at a great price. The item will be up on their website shortly, so make sure you guys check. If you want to purchase it now, contact Francisco at sales@silviaparts.com.

Take care guys!

wow that's pretty sweet, and since it's CF, there's no fear of bad paint, cause there is no paint, right?

what about the mesh, how much would it cost to paint it black, and what about the fact that I've noticed many people on here talk about it chipping or coming off way too easily? Can/will something be done about that?

Thanks.

Yes, there's no paint at all because it's carbon fiber.

It costs $5 to have the mesh painted. Since the mesh is metal, it's rather hard to paint it. Before, we used to hand brush the mesh, and the results were not very good. Therefore, we started just painting it with car paint. However, since the mesh has a shiny surface, the paint will eventually start to chip, but it's very easy to just spray paint it again.
