I'd appreciate some education on 2004 6MT bumper & lip

Hey guys.. total noob here.. not just w/ my G35 but with cars in general. I recently bought myself a beautiful 2004 6MT Sport Coupe (32k mi) and I'm in love. I've been looking into a few things I'd like to do and I've found myself interested in adding an OEM lip. After some research I've come to find that most lips don't fit the sport bumper.. but I cant seem to find a straight answer as to if that only applies to the newer models or the 03/04 models as well. I'm assuming I have a sports bumper due to it being a Sport Coupe w/ 6MT and the gold Brembos. I believe the newer model G's have a sport and non-sport bumper but I can't find confirmation as to if my year has more than one bumper type. I appreciate any and all help! Thanks in advance.

tl;dr I've got an 04 6MT Sport Coupe -- Is my bumper limited to a select few lip options?

I may be wrong, but I think you have the run of the mill g35 bumper, I don't think they changed the bumper to a "sport bumper" till 06?

Looks like you have the same non-sport bumper as my 05. Found out that the OEM lip was discontinued. They pop up for sale now and then on the forum. But there are also replica lips like this one. http://www.ionicdynamics.com/G35LIPKIT.HTML

You def have the non-sport.
Most aftermarket lips you'll find are for the G35 coupe non-sport (your bumper) front bumpers.
The sport bumper has diff inlets for the 2 lower grills. They also have diff channeling on the side of the bumper for airflow.
