Door lock actuator

My driver side actuator is failing and the dealership quoted me about $570 for part and labor and I really don't want to pay that much. If I were to do it myself what part would I need if I want to replace it with the OEM actuator and how difficult would it be? Thank you in advance.

You'll need OEM Acctuator - 80501-AC80A $238.00 G35driver price
I think you have to do a little work, but not impossible job, might even be a DIY on here somewhere

Don't waste your money on buying a stock actuator. Try this cheap and easy fix.

Great write up that tells you step by step on how to do it. I did it to my driver side actuator last summer and it is still working like a charm. My passenger side one is now starting not to work so I'm about to do it to it as well. Hope this helps.
