Nismo Front Question

So i get backed into by a truck and the hitch dug into my front bumper I got an estimate yesterday and asked the guy about going with the nismo front and paying for any additional cost. Well, he said their shop normally doesn't work with aftermarket bumpers because they're normally crap.

Which vender can provide a quality nismo bumper without too many issues? I dont want the fitment to be off by much and dont want the paint to start bubbling up after a few months. also, is there an OEM part number?

If you can find a used one in your color, you can put it on yourself. It is very easy. Otherwise, it's hit and miss with the ones available lately. I don't know of any vendors on this forum that sell them.

No aftermarket part is going to have perfect fitment... and I think most of them come unpainted. Whoever you take it to get it painted will determine its paint quality and durability so make sure you take it somewhere professional.

Bumping this thread as I am in the same boat as the OP. From searching it seems like Strafe was recommended, but are no longer. Then bausauto was good, but haven't seen any activity on them recently, and their website is down. After 8 years of ownership, the front of my g is chipped to hell, and the paint is peeling off the hood and the roof (separating from the primer - great paint nissan).

As long as its prepped right the paint will be good, the bumper needs to be baked before it gets prepped..

I asked R1 for a quote several days ago but they have not gotten back to me. I am in a hurry because my bumper was destroyed when a cat ran into me @50mph I found the below link on ebay, apparently it is made by KBD. Does anyone have any experience with this manufacturer, or should i wait for R1? Thanks!

You gotta text them. I've seen that usually yield the fastest response time.
Their numbers listed somewhere in their main vendor thread.

Well i looked for him, and couldn't find anymore than a bunch of hair stuck to my bumper and carbon fiber liscense plate frame that broke. I think its safe to say he is pretty fuking dead. It was at night and i was so pissed that i couldve overlooked him tho.
