Exclamation Yoshi san understands!

Yoshi figured out what I am talking about! Hopefully, I hear pricing tomorrow.

Can't wait to get them on! If they make 'em, add that to the mod list.

Definately keep us posted.

I'm guessing this is not a mirror replacement, but a control module addition of some sort. Hopefully there won't be any compatibility issues with our US models.

it will have to be a mirror replacement, and wiring change.

Our mirrors don't have any feedback to let a 'brain' know where the mirror is at. Also, because of the power mirror switching system of the coupe you will have to car some wires to be able to reliably control the mirror.

Did you guys see those pix? looks like it's some sort of 2-way alarm system with feedback remote as well as mirror controls. Cool - but looks expen$ive!!

Yoshi san

You're right about the complete system. Yoshi san calls it the "parking support system", and it includes "basic car alarm, door mirror automatic descent, and door mirror automatic fold-in." All three are shown in the pic below.

He did not provide pricing yet, but you're probably right...it'll be expensive. He did kind of lead on that since it's an option on the JDM version, it should be a pretty straight forward add-on since it will come with all of the necessary parts.

Not to mention they will be angled for RHD. That may be youre biggest issue.

Exclamation I Got The Pricing!!!!!!

Here's the direct quote from Yoshi san's email: "the
standard kit includes the basic car alarm, door mirror angle adjustment, and
fold-in. And the price is 299.25USD + shipping cost (around 40USD) + 5% of
commission." That makes the kit cost $354.21 depending on how much the shipping varies. Not bad for an alarm, reverse tilt, & fold-in!!!

I also asked about the mirror remote entry lights and Skyline key with built-in remote, and he is checking on those as well.

if we can get the keyfob with the buttons for a good price, that would be great!!! what's the deal with the "basic alarm"? is it the same as our current alarm? can we get the fold-down mirrors without that whole package with the alarm (if it turns out to be the stock alarm)? however, from your pics, it looks like a two-way remote.

My BF TL has this feature. I think it is great! Wish I had it for the G, but I guess I can always do it manually.
