Wow, VIS has gotten that big!!! I used to be heavily into the car scene several years ago. I've been out and gave up on cars for about 4 years, so I havent kept up with anything since. I didnt know VIS grew to be that big! I'm returing to the world of auto enthusiasts to find that alot of things are the same, but even more things are extremely different... in the most bizarre way! I remember VIS being a little bodykit place that looked like they didnt have much going for themselves. They even made a mold off of one of my buddy's R34 Skyline bumpers and are selling it everywhere now! And now they own Wings West!?!? WOW!

 

Don't get angry at me that you created a thread with a false accusation against me and I am calling you out on it. As I already said, the whole drama of this thread would have been avoided had you PMed me or had bothered to ask the admin or mod. It's not wise to make accusations in anger, especially if you haven't bothered to do enough research to base your accusation on.

This whole thread is an accusation, not a fact. You are accusing me of censoring my post in the vendor forum either directly or by asking a mod/admin to remove it. I did neither.

I have never told you not to post anything. We've had disagreements in the past but I've never deleted anything you've posted, nor have I asked you to stop posting. Once again, the thread in question is in the Vendor Specials forum, your response would be better placed in this forum in one of the threads regarding hoods. I posted the thread in that forum because it is a Vendor Special. (that's a fact) Another thing I should mention is you are posting second hand information....you say you want to save people drama, however second hand info isn't always accurate or helpful. You do not own the hood yourself. Havoline never complained about the hood to us, nor have any of the other Top Secret carbon fiber hood owners. (and we all know that for the price of the hood, i'de be hearing it if there were any complaints. I've installed one myself and there were no issues with it.

I apologize if I'm coming across like a jerk in this thread, I will not let this situation carry over into any other thread, but I cannot take false accusations sitting down.

 

Ok bro whatever you say. Like I said before facts are facts. I gave info on the hood. IT WAS A FACT! How do you know it was the Havoline car? Hmm. Its not second hand, I saw the car in PERSON! So whats the reason why other threads in that section can have posts but yours cant?? If I did something wrong and you had nothing to do with my posted being deleted then why is the thread now locked and no one can post in it? If a mod did it on their own why didnt they PM ME and tell me I was in the wrong and just delete my post? If you had nothing to do with it then Im sorry. BUT how you wouldnt I dont know. In the end it really doesnt matter at this point. Ill stand behind my post to the end. Tell you what Ill edit the topic and the members can make up their own minds. In the end I gave a report about your hood, it was the TRUTH! Like it or not!
BTW I now have the Seibon hood in my garage. Now that Ive seen both would you like a report? Oh wait a sec. This is the wrong section for that.

I had no idea your post was even deleted til I saw this thread. You created this thread and blamed me for something I had no knowlege of. The issue at hand isn't what you posted in that thread. The issue is that you created this thread attacking/blaming me for censoring your posts, something I didn't even know happened.

Ignoring the drama, I just thought Id toss in my .02 in regards to why 'replicator's dont modify their 'replicas'. I imagine it would take alot more work and R&D to modify a product to be original rather than simply replicating one. Knowing this, the point of a replica is to save people and the replicator money, therefore if the replicator spends more money on R&D and modifying an existing design there would really be no cost savings.

That being said, I have seen and read many of G352NV (Steve's) posts and IMO he seems very unbiased and honest. I am glad to have a member like him on this forum as its hard to get unbiased opinions on products these days. TS can price their parts at whatever price they see fit as its a product they have developed and researched. after all its about capitalism, but in a capitalistic society there are issues w/ copying/manipulating other's products hence all these patent/copyright laws being broken.

This also reminds me, in the vendor classifieds I saw an add from I believe Concept Z performance advertising the INJEN SES exhaust. Well since I have read a dozen or so threads regarding fiberglass issues I figured Id post in the thread about it. I simply said 'If only the INJEN didnt blow fiberglass all over the rear bumper'. They replied that the issue is resolved by new exhausts that INJEN sent them, however I also know INJEN replaced many resonators but people still have the same problem with the new resonators but dont know anything about the new exhaust. However this thread or my post was not removed/deleted. The thread is below...
