IMHO The fact that in one of your posts you mentioned Top Secret is pretty much what made my decision to remove the posts.

You may not see it as a big issue but I do. The topic was brought up I reviewed it, looked at multiple sides of it and even looked into it deaper as far as what impact it could have.

In regards to other posts this has nothing to do with them so why bring them into play. This is regards to Top Secret and the "replica Top Secret front bumper " and nothing else..

Also, your open to your opinion but if you go and blast me on my boards I take offense to it!!!!!!!

copyright laws say they only need to change it 10 or 15%...they clearly did that...from the material they used, to the suttle changes in the lip, to the mesh...there is a difference...come, even TOPSECRET2001 said there's a difference. I think having that thread back would be fair...

 

as a bystander, i think most will agree that all this drama is getting tiresome...the ts, aps, topsecret issue--it's all related. to make it easy, have all retailers who sell/promote on this forum be sponsors....i think that's a good thing for all so there are no complaints by paying sponsors. however, i believe some retailers have already alienated many potential buyers and members from their responses and actions. i understand both sides but i believe on side in particular is making an a$$ of himself. i understand his plight against replicas but he always comes across in a very bad light.

as with the ts1 duraflex bumper, since it has a different look (slightly) due to the mesh/chicken wire and materials, i don't think it should be an issue of copyright infridgement. so, please let that go too.

 

I want to add that when i started that "Top Secret" replica thread a few weeks ago, my thread was purely to see if I should pursue it with a vendor. I have no way to produce this product...please ask TOPSECRET2001 to stop posting threathening post regarding legal action...he deleted a post he made but I still received it. It read, "Just to make a few things more clear:

You have just admitted to you advertised the product you are
distributing as a "TOP SECRET REPLICA."

You are still engaged in the distribution of the product."

I AM NOT DISTRIBUTING ANYTHING FOR A PROFIT.

 

Well this has turned out to be a war. When I posted this thread is was about a simple thing. I was trying to save someone time and money. TS wanted a review and I gave one. why that was deleted I dunno.
Now about the knock off. Ive said it once and Ill say it again. Im NOT a fan of knock offs. BUT some are. If I were TS I would just let people judge. I bought a ings knock off a while back. From that point on Ive never liked knock offs. Fitment was ****! Guess where it came from?? The company in question. TS just let members find out on their own. It might be good or it might be bad. BUT I see no reason for all the deleted posts. There wouldnt be drama if they were still here.

 

Yup the drama gets old quick..
I think that rule is coming about the retailers..
