Color matched my corner lights *PIC*



Nice smooth look. It took me less than 2 hours to sand, prep, paint, and clear them. Of course, I let them dry overnight.

I love the look.... because there is no look! It just blends in and the corner lights no longer distract your eyes away from the lines of the car.

really nice look, you're right, you can't even tell you have them there. HOw do they look with your lights on?

I used a fair amount of base coat ( 3 layers)to make it so you can't see the amber when they are on.

On my previous car, I used less base coat. During the day, they looked black. At night, you could see some light through them.....more like a very dark smoked out look.

i was thinking of the same mod on my way to work this morning. i want to color match it, but leave a few stripes exposed, to it still lights up.

i don't see clear corners on your pic at all. must be my eyes... could you post close-up pic? also, what paint did you use?

lol, thats what I was thinking. It sounded like he painted several coats so the lights wouldnt shine through at night... then why not just remove the bulbs?

Yes, it is illegal in most states.

I would like to see better pics. I can't see sh*t in that pic. I guess that's the point though.
