Powdercoat Heatshield..pic

got my heat shield and the brackets powdercoated to match the outside color of my car.

powdercoat work was done by Mike Golding (imspud@bellsouth.net)

so...why powdercoat instead of paint?

i wanted to send out a test piece since I considered powdercoating my Brembos.

i think painting the heatshield would have been fine.

that's it. just wanted to share.

as far as getting the entire engine painted the color of the car..

Yeah, I've talked to Mike on my350z, he sent me a bunch of pics of his work, very affordable and really nice. I so wish I had Brembos to have them powdercoated.

I think your engine cover and heatshiled look awesome together!!

I'm not sure about the battery covers...maybe if the "battery" text and clips were black too?
Either way, the engine bay is coming along nicely. Any plans to change all the caps, etc to yellow?
