I liked the 05 orange stitched steering wheel and lighted controls and I was wondering has anyone done this conversion? I guess the airbags are swapable so all I need is to find a wrecked 05 coupe and get the wheel and controls?

 

Never heard of anyone do this before, but finding a wrecked 05? Not very likely, i hope??

 

i was looking into this, but to buy an OEM wheel from a sport package 05 coupe was around $800 according to the parts website. i suppose if you find an 05 in the junkyard it would be cheaper, but only certain 05's have the orange stitching, so it might be tough.

 

I am 90% sure the wheel does fit the only problem is wondering if the lighted steering wheel controls would work w/o any splicing

 

Anyone else?
