Just wondering who has the G windows tinted, I really want to tint my windows, wondering whats a good tint shade to get and where to get it in the Bay Area.

 

You should check in the regional forums...and tinting your car should be the very first mod you do...

 

My came tinted from the dealer.....

 

I tinted mine with 30% and the same color as the top of the windshield. CA allows NO tint on the front windows. When I lived there they were hard asses about it. Same here in NJ too but not pulled over yet....(looks around for wood to knock on).

 

i wanna Tint my front window and the small windows in the back prolly 30 pecent my G is Diamond Graphite...you guys got any pics of your cars with Tint?

i have my windows tinted with V-cool 40% allaround. It looks great, not too dark, not too light. Does an awsome job protecting the interior. You can some pics here http://www.lretter.photosite.com/g35/?page=3 I dont have any pictures when its "gloomy" outside, as thats when you can really tell the mirrorized look.

I splurged on the Huper Optik ceramic tint, and recommend it to anyone. Especially having a black on black car in the Texas sun, it makes an ENOURMOUS difference It's a bit more work and price in both installation and maintenance, but if I had it to do over again, I'd make the same choice every time.

 

Don't know the percentages. The shop had three choices of darkness: The legal limit for the sides (30%?), a middle choice and then the darkest being limo tint.

Side windows and side 1/4 glass are all legal (30%?) with the rear window done with the middle option.
