Ok, i just found out the answer to my own question... now i have another...

Can you use the old ballast for the new 06 projectors? or would you need new ones?

Thanks.
There is only one D2S bulb, when you switch to high beam, the projector actually moves/clicks to aim the light beam higher.

Yes you can. You would just need to make an extra notch on the base of the bulb. You would also need to remove the glare coating on the top part of the bulb. There you go D2R --> D2S bulb conversion.

Can we install the new housing ourselves or does the bumper have to be removed?

Bumper has to be removed. It is pretty easy. I can install/remove headlights in under 30 mins. Then again I have done it so many times.

Maybe I'm missing something but how is 1500 / pair turn into maybe 800 / pair??

With the retrofit you can make it plug and play correct? Just find someone local who does the swaps :-)

Hey everyone,

I have purchased the '06 projector headlight assemblies for my G, I did not want to deal with the work. I work 2 hrs away from where I live... commuter to the bay. So you can see why I chose to go this route. My weekends are precious to me.

Any how, I have some items for sale and will be posting in the Market place.
too. I will sell these at what I paid for them + Shipping, I prefer to sell all items as a set, but will sell Projectors & Chrome rings together only.

PROPS to WRAH
I purchased all items to replicate Wrahs Awesome setup

Interested PM

$99.99 (Pair) - e46, audi TT - bosch ece (modded cutoffs) 2.26" single xenon projectors.

$135.00 (Pair) 3" e46 bi xenon bezel w/ 2.25" chrome rings.

I paid $80.00+shipping for the BMW bezels.

Alright guys, the car is put back together. The bumper fits fine as expected. For those of you that asked me if I can do the same price, I'm real sorry but I can't. I would love to hook you guys up, but then I would have to hook up everyone, and you guys can see where I'm going with this. Infiniti would probably wonder why I'm ordering a million lights lol.... I think your best bet would be to ask Grubbs, and see if you guys can get a group buy going. I'll post pics as soon as I can. I'm waiting to put the front lip on. Oh yea, the P/N I'll get tomorrow when I get into work. Sorry guys, work has been crazy.
