I am in love with the look of the nismo front but ive heard from several people who have it becuase of the shape of it (flat and like a plow) that rock chips are terrible. I was wondering if anyone had any solutions to that, possibly custom clear bra?

 

it prolly be best to do a custom clear bra to protect it from rock chips and road debris....imo

its not my car but i know its a nismo replica and extreme dimension sides.

How much would a custom clear bra cost on that? anyone have any idea? Thx

Is this original nismo urethane or fiberglass?

 

~$400 for a quality install.

The authentic one is fiberglass and faces the same paint problem as the replicas.

 

Damn so it would be like $300 for paint and install and another $400 for a clear bra Maybe ill go into work early tomorrow /sigh

 

I should have looked at getting a clear bra for my nismo replica. Two days after I had it put on, I noticed a nice size chip on the bumper I agree that the shape of it does provide a larger surface area for rocks, but I love the clean look of it.
