Which tints should i do?

Hello,
I'm finally taking my car out next friday, (feb 17th). I was suppose to take it out on march 17th but i cant wait hopefully the weather in GTA will be good. The first day i will be getting the engine work done, such as oil change etc.
I will tint the windows on the next day, I have a 03 sedan, Silver. I'm not sure if its silver or some other colour, it looks pretty much silver to me. What percent tins do you guys think it will look good? Dark/Light? I'm thinking about 30% all around. I think it will look nice and clean, but what do you guy suggest? I have about a week to think so take ur time

Thanks,
Manbir

What color interior do you have. I just got my '06 G35x windows and rear window tinted with 20% tint. My interior is stone leather so when you look at the tinted windows they don't look like they are too dark because of the light interior. But if it was a dark interior then the tint would look very dark with a 20% tint.

I think i'm turning colour blind

So what do you think would be best tint for it? I dont want it too dark or too light. I basicaly dont want anyone to c me inside from far away, but i dont mind them seing me up front. How about 25% or 30%? I'm going to make the appointment for next sat i guess.

thnx

I have 20% all the way around on my black sedan and it looks great. Very dark but I can still see to back up at night.

Go with FormulaOne window film

I have installed the FormulaOne Pinnacle series ceramic tint. 50% front side windows, 15% for the rear 3.

The heat rejection of this film is awesome; you can't compare it with any other tint films out there.

Plus it looks really nice with any color.

Sounds nice, i'm going to get it installed by fxauto located in Markham in my home town.

I think i'm going with 25% all around, another reason i dont want to make it limi is cuz if i get one ticket, my carreer is over. I already have a careless driving charage to take care of. I'm going in Police Foundation and i'm not suppose to have any tickets or anything. damn it

Where did you get your tint done at and how much? I'm considering either Huper or FormulaOne tint right now.

Rocky Mountain Window Tint

I got my tint done at Rocky Mountain Window Tint in Livermore. I read about their great reputation on some of the bimmer forums. I remember they charged $340 or something. I thought it was expensive, but they assured me that I would be very satisfied.

The tint turned out fantastic. Zero complaints. Even though they don't use a plotter to cut the film, they can actually get the film closer to the edge than most shops that use plotters. All of my friends are amazed at how the tint is right at the edge. Also, you have to look VERY VERY carefully to find any specks of dust/dirt. They also take into account how our windows roll up slightly when you close the door, so what they do is use infrared heat lamps to dry the edges of the tint so that it won't be affected by the movement of the window.

Overall, I figure if you get a good tint job done, even though it's more expensive, it'll be a one time thing and you can enjoy it for as long as you have the car.

If you ever want to meet up sometime to see their work, feel free to send me a PM.
