Is the replica nismo front supposed to be fit like this?
Is the replica nismo front supposed to be fit like this?
On the sides of the front bumper, it doesn't fit too well. Is this normal? Or else, can the bodyshop fix it?
Thanks for helping.

Lol oh, score.. no one has replied to this yet! - I could have a hay day with this... But I'll try to be nice...
You bought a replica.... yes, its supposed to fit like that. A body shop will fix it [and any other blishes] - it looks like its already painted... it should have been fixed durring the prep! Odds are this will get you pretty darn close to what the real nismo would have cost you - you should have bought it in the 1st place and saved time, money, labor, and stress?
Who did you buy from? Always buy authentic.

I bought this long time ago from 350zonline...
Yes, it's painted already and the bodyshop said it's hard to get that part fit right...maybe it's the problem of the shop...

anything from ED and 350zonline is usually always bad....however some of the other replica's I have seen are actually much nicer. automods nismo front bumper is really nice...just check out jimmytangs front bumper...

I think it is your bodyshop that doesn't know how to make fiberglass kits fit properly... plus it looks like the paint does not match at all. Buying a replica kit is a risk, and good bodyshop that knows what they are doing is needed in order to make the parts fit right. Replica parts almost never fit right.
I've heard horror stories about ill-fitting replicas.
The authentic version has an OEM level of fit... ...BUT, there are two parts behind the bumper that needed to be removed to avoid bulging at the sides. It wasn't that bad, but this tip might still help you.
Remove the lower slide-out stryrofoam inserts that are used for added support for the OEM urethane bumper. They're not needed. You can see them in this pic. They are the two items that have the foam weatherstrip in the shape of an "L" (backwards "L" on driver's side). Let us know if it helps.

Really glad I snapped this pic, as it's come in handy lately.

My color isn't match too...everything really got messed up
But it seems that there's no way to get a refund...
