I just bought a used G35 coupe with only 1800 miles on it. Everything seems to be in perfect condition... except, I just tried to turn off VDC, and the "VDC Off" light does not come on. (The light definitely works, because it flashes when the car is initially turned on.)

I'm pretty sure I'm doing everything right since I followed the manual directions: start engine, push VDC/Off button.

Has anyone else experienced this? I guess I'll just take it to the dealer because it must be covered in the warranty.

 

I'll try it when I get home, also, can you look at your window lock option...mine doesn't light up at night...I was wondering if that was just mine or all of them...

 

When you press the button, after the car is started, the VDC off light comes on and remains on. I drive with VDC on only when it rains. Most of the time it is off (the light is on). Monsoon season is now over in Arizona. Regarding the window lock button, mine doesn't light up eather. I was going to report this to the dealer. But, maybe that's the way it's supposed to be?

I guess I am posting too late about the vdc...but thanks for the info about the lock light...I thought it was just me...hahah..you gotta love this forum!!!!
