I finally got around to taking my door apart to hit that reset switch to fix my window problem. It worked great but the next day it started doing the same thing again! I'm about to take apart again and try it one more time. If it acts up again then I'm going to take it into to the dealership.

I took it in before and was going to have them fix the window under warranty but then they explained that if its the reset switch then they wouldnt cover it (which is why i just did it myself). Would they just go ahead and replace the motor if I brought it in again and explained how I have already done the reset?

Worth a shot. I just had my pass window motor replaced under warranty. Wasn't a big deal. However, them telling you that if it's a reset issue the warranty wouldn't cover it and they'd charge you.... i've got to wave the bs flag at them on that one.

Something's wrong with the car that's a defect covered under warranty. The motor had something give out, needed a reset. They should be able to handle that quickly and under warranty no prob, and not charge you. If they're telling you that, time to find another dealer.
