GroundingGear Carbon HEPA Filter

Just replaced my in-cabin air filter w/ the carbon HEPA filter from Gord. Install was easy w/ just a screwdriver. Original filter wasn't that dirty to my surpise, even w/ 34k on my G, but the new filter is nice. No bad smells coming from outside the car.

Good filter.
Easy install.
Much cheaper than having the dealer change the filter.

I would definately recommend the charcoal filter from Gord.

Thanks for a good product Gord!!

i replaced mine with a nissan charcoal filter, and had the same success. i don't have any smells from outside anymore, which is totally worth the extra cost for me.

you have a link where you got yours from?

I too would like some more info about where you got your filter and how much it costs.

Was the one that you got a single filter or was it two? I remember reading somewhere that the Nissan charcoal filter is actually two smaller filters that you have to place in side-by-side to take up the whole filtration area that was originally taken up by a single OEM non-charcoal filter.

The one I put in this weekend was bought from a member here. It's one piece. PM Gordgee here on the forums. He's also the one who sells the grounding wires that a lot of members here use.

+1 for the Gordgee activated-carbon filter. It's under $40
