g35 leather??

i have a 2006 infiniti g35 sedan with only 25k miles. My leather though seems to be peeling/scratching off on the side of the front of the seats, very slowly since many months back and only badly like this on the driver seat and just a scrap or two on the other seats.

Dude That leather is DRY, can you walk around with a dry face? Its the same thing gotta take care of that baby... Go pick up some leather cream from autozone, pour it on it and dont be cheap your leather needs it. my 06 leather still like the way it came outta the factory.

Since already going bad, Maybe u should do a coupeseat swap ;-) add to the modlist lol

my 01 chrysler 300m, had better leather than some of the g35s i've seen, But i used to feed my leather alot of cream when I used to clean the car myself.

1st off...INFINITI LEATHER BLOWS!!! I've had an SC430, S4, Z4, ML430 and none of them wore out as fast as my car. My ML had 150,000 on it when I got rid of it and it still looked way better than my car does now. And I know how to take care of my car too. My experience (4th Infiniti)....live to deal with it.
2nd...my Z4 with 25k on it started to crack ever so slightly (much less than yours)...BMW replaced the leather on the entire seat, no questions asked. Would Infiniti do this??? I bet you not.

I brought my 2005 G-Coupe new and my leather started showing those same signs after 12,000 miles of driving.
I only have 22,000 miles on it right now. January of 2007 I took it to the dealer i brought it from and they said that Infiniti will replace 1 seat (skin) 1 time under warrentee. I assumed it was because I brought it from them, but I never took it back in for the work (2 week order).

Last week I took my G to a different Dealership for factory HID work (1 balast blew). I ask him if they would replace the leather and he said yes, but they are on a national back order...A little over 2 weeks.

You can maybe ask your local dealership if your car is still under warrenty.

I agree, the steering wheel on my '05 started to split, and they replaced it! The thing that is abnormal, is that chunk that is missing, not the creases, all leather gets creases, nothing you can do about that.
