04 to 05 Dash question...
Okay, I bet this has been asked by other fools like myself, but I didn't find anything of use so here goes.
Found an 04 that I like very much, love the color, TB, but love the 05 center console with the aluminum and such, enough of a sticking point that I needed to ask the experts. Is it even possible to put in an 05 center console (from cubby to armrest) into an 04? I'm guessing even if possible it would be astronomically expensive, but the itch needs scratched.
I'm guessing the willow wouldn't match the stone from 04 to 05 either so graphite to graphite would be the only path, if at all. Let the flames begin...

Swapping out the consoles wouldn't be too hard, since they are almost identical in design. But, all the radio controls and the shifter on the auto is different.
So.......I'm sure with enough time and money it could be done......but Just get a 05 and paint it TB........

you'll have to rewire the gauge cluster, and temp display.
the 04 temp control display can't be controlled by the 05 radio. ( personally haven't tried to rewire the display to 05.. maybe one day...radio works though)
gauge cluster has already been done- you have to rewire. (should be in the interior forum.)
