I don't really move my seat settings around or use the seat heaters so that latter part is not a big deal for me.

I have also been looking at the corbeau seats cause of the support and headroom.
It's decently priced not overpriced as some other seats to do the same thing.
It also has wide size for those of us who are little thick around the belt.

some think i am crazy, but oh well. the car is a few months away from being paid off (like, 5) and it hasn't been a daily driver for about a year, so i figure, why not
i know that corbeau recently lost their FIA homolgation, so until i need a seat with it, i'll stick with this model as it meets the regs for what i'm trying to do. the forzas (or anything "tube and cloth" type) do not. when i'm rich/famous/sponsored/good, i'll move up to the sparco or recaro, but not yet...i'm poor/unknown/what's a sponsor/not that good

I dunno.. every time I see some Bride/Takata combos, it makes me think poorly of Corbeau's. They just seem kind of dull. I don't know what it is exactly. Maybe it's just the flashy image of Brides and Sparcos. There has to be a reason for the $1200 difference in price though, is there?
Bride Stradia's are about $1600 vs. Corbeau FX1's for $569 (custom color selection) or just about $350 in black.
That and it seems every time I see Corbeau's, they are in some rice rocket or some ghetto ride. Every time I see Bride or Sparco, they are in a nice show/drift/race car... I guess they just might be doing a better job at marketing to the right people in the right ways.
Still up in the air for me... maybe time will tell what I end up getting, but those Black w/ red mid-section Corbeau FX1's are sexy w/ black 5-point harness.

So after a year how do you like them? How is the headroom with helmet? Did you get the bracket from Corbeau and how well did it fit and how well does it work, from what I can gather it is adjustable (front to back).
I was thinking about going with the Sparco Evo2 but the Corbeau, for the price, seems much more logical but I'm worried about how they hold up.
updates?
