Anyone try a G37 knob on their 6mt?

i may be the first to say this, i'd rather have the stock **** with the gear imprint and a heavier feel. i've seen my share of auto's putting on a boot around their shifter and it looks cheesy. although we obviously have a large circular area which you would not find in an auto w/o a giant console overhaul. maybe it's just me. but the **** looks really nice, just looks like a really nice auto **** to me.

I like the old **** better too.

Us V36 guys have the shift pattern etched into the aluminum trim surrounding the shift boot. So if we decide to change the ****, people STILL know how many gears we have and where to find them.

I like the new generation ****, looks good on the G35 interior. Don't know if I want to shell out $100+ for an oem **** though, maybe $50 tops.

Surely they'll be for sale once the G37 guys get bored with it themselves Then again, condition is an important factor...

Okay, time to search Ebay.
