avoiding tint bubbles with auto window lowering on coupe?

Hey All,

Just got my g35 coupe tinted. But there's this strip near the bottom of the window that is retracting into the door because the window lowers slightly when i open the door. Right now there are a couple bubbles in this area because it can't dry very well...

This seems like a common problem with our cars. is there anything I can do to minimize defects near the bottom of the driver side window?

Thanks!

And if you really have to drive. Get in and out of your car via the trunk for three days. Fold down the rear seats. Haha

if they tint guy did a good job it wouldnt matter. On my driver side it started peeling because i panic the first day when i saw a cop and lowered the windows. They re did it for free and i didnt lower the windows for 2 days. now its good.

Remember "Bubbles?" :)

With a rag around a squeegee while you're in the drivers seat with the doors closed see if you can gently press down and get rid of the bubbles. Tint shouldn't take more than 24 hours to dry especially if you live in a warm climate....like me

nah, forget about crawling out of your trunk and all that stuff. All you need to do is take out the screw next to the door/window sensor located on the door jamb. This will keep your window in the up position whether the door is open or closed.

^^Thanks a lot , this seems to be the best solution for those of us who have to drive the car to work.
