Yea some parts get stiff but best way it to lightly coat it and work it in with a brush let dry and repeat for carpet

did you sponge the dye straight onto the capet or did you disassemble everything and soak it by itself then reinstall? rit dye mixed with hot saltwater? i used that on my floor mats with amazing results but didn't think about doing the carpet while still in the car

I'm just about done taking this whole thing on in my 04 coupe. It's a lot of work but well worth it. I just have the steering wheel and seats left. Your carpet came out a lot better than mine though, what did you use?

nice. if you're wondering what the best way to dye the seat is, theres a guy on g35nyc who dyed his seats and leather door panels BMW cinnamon brown.

i was inquiring about the carpet, i plan to do them that as well but not sure if i need to remove everything as i originally planned or if it can be done without gutting the interior

i mixed the dye in a spray bottle with hot saltwater, i sprayed it brushed it in . did a 2nd coat the next day , then took a warm wet cloth and when over the carpet the 3rd day to remove and residue.i did it with the carpet in the car
heres some pics i just did the tan mats, there alittle more like the stock black color carpet but its ok i like it
